CHANDLER

Ronde walnut sapling is of French origin and is a very old walnut variety. It is known as one of the late-blooming walnut varieties and its fruit yield is low. For this reason, it is a variety that is planted as a pollinator rather than fruit production throughout the world. It can pollinate itself. Leafing time begins in the third week of April. It buds late and blooms late. The ripening time of the fruit is also quite late. The need for cooling varies between 800-1200 hours. Since it is a general pollinator walnut type, it carries the climate requirements of the trees it is planted with.
