Fernor, also known as cold climate walnut, can be planted up to 2000 altitude. Withstands late spring and early autumn frosts. Another feature of Fernor walnut sapling is that it wakes up late and is harvested early. Even frost events that occur in winter and reach -25 degrees do not affect fernor walnut trees badly.
